About this event

CMX Connect is a global community of community managers that aims to help community professionals to thrive through local events (+40 chapters), education, support and networking.

As we're going to start organizing events in different cities of the country, this chapter is now CMX Connect Portugal! We're kicking this off in a new and different way - we're going virtual for the first time. Given these difficult circumstances caused by COVID-19, most of us are at home for isolation. So, let's try to ensure that we organize one fantastic event to provide you with some fun hours :)

This online edition of CMX Connect Portugal will feature Bárbara Martins, Community Manager of Dream Assembly @ Farfetch. She will share with us what community management is all about and explain the various areas a community manager has to juggle (how many Community Managers do we know that are a team of one?). Bárbara will also cover several aspects of internal community management vs. external community management, as she has already done both.

18h30 - 18h45: Welcome and Introduction - as we're not serving drinks and snacks, don't forget to bring your own!

18h45 - 19h30: Bárbara Martins - why community management is important, what does a community manager do, and how to deal with both internal and external community management.

19h30 - 20h00: Q&A

At the Q&A session, you can share cool insights related to your own community or bring topics that you would like to discuss and get feedback from all the other community managers attending the event.

We can't wait to get everyone together :)

See you soon!

PS.: We are also very happy to announce our new co-host André Forte, CM @ Startup Portugal! Get to know him at this edition!
