Since 2016, Matthias has been dedicated to growing the mountain resort of Bansko into a top destination for digital nomads. He is currently focused on transforming an old iconic hotel in Semkovo into a 200-unit coliving space that is owned by the community. Matthias is a regular speaker and mentor at tech, coworking, and startup events, and he is known for his passion for networking and hosting events. He also organizes the annual Bansko Nomad Fest, a week-long celebration of the location-independent lifestyle.
