As we witness the decline of mass social media, we are also experiencing the greatest community development opportunity in history. For those who may be looking for their next community job, a career shift or simply want to evolve how to think about building community – an ecosystem approach to community helps develop networks of relationships and interfaces into all customer-facing business functions, opening up possibilities that can lead to valuable outcomes for your business, your members and especially...you. At this event, learn how to expand your current role and charter or land your next bigger and better role as a community professional. Speaker Bill Johnston is a pioneering online community-builder, strategist and designer. His passion is designing online community ecosystems for purpose-driven organizations. Bill founded Structure3C to help organizations move beyond the boundaries of platforms and optimization-focused “best practices” to create transformational community experiences. Prior to founding Structure3C, Bill held Director positions at Autodesk and Dell, where he was responsible for online community and social media globally. In addition to his role at Structure3C, Bill co-chairs the Cohere community research project and is writing a book on the role of creativity, imagination and design in online communities. There will be light refreshments (think pizza and beer, or something of that nature). Details to be announced! Thanks to our venue host, LeanData! Standing at the center of Salesforce CRM, LeanData’s family of solutions orchestrate and automate the go-to-market process to help revenue teams close more deals and drive more revenue, faster.
