The COVID-19 pandemic has turned education on inside out and on its head. Educators of all stripes (teachers, counselors, principals, admins, and family members)are turning to online communities for critical support.
Everyone who's work touches on education are invited to join this CMX Connect on supporting educators, and also take some time to look at how we can support each other.
About this event
A very special CMX: Connect event for education community professionals
Education is in crisis right now. Schools and districts remain severely disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Educators are increasingly turning to online communities of practice for support as they work to reinvent their profession on the fly and provide their students with what they need to succeed.
Community professionals can provide critical support to educators as they engage in this daunting task. In this meet-up we will explore best-practices for supporting educators of all stripes (teachers, counselors, principals, admins, and family members stepping into the role). We will also take some time to check in on how we are all doing, since the stress of managing this crisis doesn't end at the school door.
