We started off by creating a big space that was affordable, city-central, with awesome WiFi to help tech startups and scaleups focus on building their businesses, and not have to worry about onerous long term leases, negotiating for property, etc. We hit the ground running. Since 2014 we’ve grown five-fold in size in Edinburgh, CodeBase in Stirling came online in 2017, followed by ONE CodeBase in Aberdeen in June 2019. We have also built strategic corporate partnerships with Barclays and PwC. As well as our three core cities, part of the Barclays partnership involves us delivering mentorship and business support to 21 Barclays Eagle Labs throughout the whole of the UK.

Our goal is to help Tesco shoppers to manage their money a little better everyday. We’ve been around since 1997 and today have more than 5 million customers across a range of banking and insurance products.
