Whether you're the manager of an online or physical community, as part of a non-profit or commercial organization, a lot depends on the successful onboarding of your community members, especially those MVPs and volunteers who can amplify a CMGr's role.

About this event

Whether you're the manager of an online or physical community, as part of a non-profit or commercial organization, a lot depends on the successful onboarding of your community members, especially those MVPs and volunteers who can amplify a CMGr's role.

Elisa Binette, Engineering Manager at New Relic, is part of the Volunteer Team for Portland's Women in Tech organization (PDXWIT) and she'll be sharing her experience from PDXWIT. And they know a lot about successful onboarding.

PDXWIT is a 100% volunteer-run organization whose purpose is to strengthen the Portland women in tech community by offering: educational programs, partnerships, mentorships, resources and opportunities. After a few short years PDXWIT has grown to over 2,600 members, buzzing with activity online and through hosting multiple IRL events each month.

Let's learn from their success - bring a colleague!
