About this event

Building a community can often feel like being on a lonely island. We spend our days connecting others, but who connects the connectors? As the global hub for community professionals, CMX is thrilled to announce the official revitalization of the CMX Connect Mumbai Chapter.

Human beings are social creatures by nature, and online communities are the natural progression of our need to belong. In recent years, community management has evolved from a side task into a senior-level strategic role. This focused, 60-minute virtual session is where we strip away the buzzwords and define the way ahead for our local community leaders.

Who is it for?

  • The Veterans: Experienced Community Managers looking for a high-level peer network.

  • The Transitioners: Social Media Managers or Marketing professionals moving into Community roles.

  • The Founders: Entrepreneurs looking to leverage community-led growth for their ventures.

  • The Curious: Anyone who manages a group of people and wants to move from "managing" to "building."

Why should you care?

Community management is one of the most vital—yet least understood—functions in business today. Building in isolation leads to burnout and misaligned strategies. You care because your work deserves a framework, and your professional growth requires a local ecosystem that understands the specific nuances of the Indian market.

What will you get at the end?

  • The Value Framework: A clear way to explain your role and impact to executive leadership.

  • A Seat at the Table: Direct influence over the CMX Mumbai 2026 roadmap and upcoming session themes.

  • Peer Connection: Real-time networking with local builders who manage human interactions at scale.

  • Clarity: A "no-fluff" understanding of what actually makes a community successful in today’s landscape.
