As community professionals, we spend our days connecting people around ideas, information, brands, common interests, and causes. We focus on bringing greater meaning to the members of the communities we manage. Unfortunately, we are frequently on our own in these endeavors. We work alone or in small teams, under-resourced and disconnected from other teams or decision-makers that may not truly understand the value community provides. 

The mission of CMX is to advance the community industry and help community professionals thrive. 

This kick-off event will be the first of many opportunities to meet with other Twin Cities professionals within this growing industry. Grow your network, share successes and failures, and exchange ideas. 

At this inaugural event, you'll hear from Francis Murphy, Anaplan's Senior Director of Community, about Anaplan's community journey. We'll have an open discussion about community, the challenges you face, and how future CMX Connect events can help you succeed in your work and your career. And of course, there will be plenty of time for our own community-building with opportunities to meet and mingle.
