Resilience matters - for you, your community and your organisation.
It's no surprise that after the many challenges of 2020, resilience was chosen as the theme for 2021's Community Manager Advancement Day.
What to expect from the event
This will be a 90 minute workshop style event, offering expert insight and time to interact in group discussion.
Our panel will be sharing their insights on how to build resilience as an individual, how to strengthen your community, and how to organisations can effectively bounce back from challenges.
We'll head into virtual breakout groups to share our current challenges or experiences, discuss what we learned and what we can apply to ourselves and our communities. There will be also be time to ask questions and to share what we've learned with each other.

He recently embarked on new projects including being a first adopter of the Be Humankind Organisational Development approach where he helps run the Be Humankind community as well as facilitating project work for individuals, teams and organisations.
Outside of work, he’s a big fan of fish and chips and drum and bass and spends a few hours tinkering with grimey bass sounds whenever his family allow!
Abbie joined Mind in 2016 to project manage a major community change programme. Three years of research and service design with over 250 community members led to the move across from the Elefriends community to Side by Side – a 24/7 peer support space for anyone struggling with their mental health. Abbie manages the ongoing development of Side by Side leading a wider team of 20+ moderators. She loves to explore new places and has a distant dream of opening a tearoom / wine bar by the sea!
