CMX Connect Istanbul is hosting Edu Giansante is the Head of Community at Wix and founder and CEO of E-Dublin! In this session, Edu will go through the main points on how to evaluate and gain insights from an existing (and under-utilized) community space; best ways to kickstart a feedback loop with the product team; building the product and the community. Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Edu moved to Ireland in 2008, which is when he started his first expats community: E-Dublin. In 2010, Edu joined Zynga as team lead and 2 years later became its Global Community Operations manager. He then joined Dropbox in 2014 and built an online community. Edu launched the Dropbox Super User program as well as other programs that helped scale support. He also helped the digital transformation at VMware as senior manager of the online communities and most recently joined Wix. On a more personal note, Edu loves his daily walks in the Dublin mountains with his beagle Danone, and he's the former drummer of the Irish band Medz.
