M. Yusuf Sarigoz is a co-founder and artificial intelligence engineer at Turkish startup AI Labs, innovating the retail industry with deep learning solutions. His main interests lie in deep learning for computer vision and neural machine translation.

M. Yusuf Sarigoz is a co-founder and artificial intelligence engineer at Turkish startup AI Labs, innovating the retail industry with deep learning solutions. His main interests lie in deep learning for computer vision and neural machine translation.
He has a long experience in large-scale and efficient face recognition on the edge and fully unsupervised neural machine translation in unparallel corpora, and has developed new model architectures in these fields. Sarigoz is also highly active in the AI/ML community as a a Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning, and also by facilitating workshops on Tensorflow, Keras and AI/ML in the cloud and mentoring scholars in Sabanci Foundation Scholarship Program.
Ilker is the host of CMX Connect Istanbul, and is a community aficionado where he led the coordination of Google communities in Turkey, Central Asia & the Caucasus until very recently.
Throughout his career, Ilker has been involved in interesting projects and works at likes of Cisco and London Olympic Games, and is keen to let the world know about the cool communities in his native Turkey!
