Apply for up to $40K USD in funding, coaching, development, and connections!
The 2022 Community Accelerator is a program focused on helping top community builders advance their leadership skills and utilize Facebook tools to deepen their community’s impact.
🙋🏾♀️During the four-month program, participants will receive training and funding to invest in an initiative that extends their community’s positive impact.
🙆🏽♂️Applicants will be notified in early October if they were selected, and the program will begin in mid-October and run for approximately 4 months.
WHAT COMES WITH THE COMMUNITY ACCELERATOR PROGRAM EXPERIENCE?
💰Funding: Receive grant money to help fund work that advances your community’s goals. This year we look forward to awarding up to $40,000.00 (USD) per community through our Grant Management Partner GlobalGiving.
☕️Coaching and Development: Develop yourself and your community through a customized curriculum and personalized coaching to strengthen your community. Work on a development plan to execute an initiative of your choice and design.
👫Connection: Knowledge-share with fellow top community leaders, network with key players in the industry and access direct support.

Avani Parekh is a community builder who is Program Manager for Community Partnerships, APAC for Facebook where she helps community leaders power up their leadership, access and impact across the Facebook platform of apps. Her last venture was called LoveDoctor, a service to bring confidential sex and healthy relationship advice to youth using chat, sms, and email, serving over 400,000 young people across the world.
