Jacob leads community programs at Slack, which includes events, user groups, an online forum, and a Slack workspace. Jacob has been at Slack for the last 2.5 years and has enjoyed every minute of it! Prior to Slack, Jacob worked at a couple startups, also working in Community, and prior to that, he spent some time working in academia. Jacob is originally from Los Angeles but has been residing in Chicago for almost a decade. Jacob's favorite Slack feature (well, one of them at least!) is Slack canvas; so many possibilities with this powerful tool!
